Mix 1½ measuring cups of powder with 1 measuring cup of cold distilled water, never warm water or any other liquid. The jelly starts to set within 5 to 6 minutes, so apply it straight away, thicker at the edges and upward for a lifting effect. Leave it on for at least 15 minutes, then lift it off in one piece in the direction of hair growth. Wipe leftovers into the bin, never down the sink, and keep jars closed in a cool, dry place.
